BIM Competition - Judging Criteria
The judging criteria for the BIM competition are as follows:
By entering, teams imply an understanding that while only highly rated entries will receive awards and that all judging parties will be thorough and impartial, evaluating entries is inherently subjective.
Judges selection of Awards, once awarded, are final.
- True 3D solid model readily converted to 2D engineering drawings representing underground (or overhead) public utilities or process plant (30% of total marks)
- Intelligence and parametric nature of model – information of pipe, fitting, type of manhole, mechanical properties of plant
- Innovative and appropriate use of the software in the model (35% of total marks)
